Mobile app development

An app in both stores from a single codebase, tested on real hardware rather than a simulator, and taken through App Store and Play Store review by us rather than handed to you as a zip file.

Two platforms, one budget

Building separately for iOS and Android means two codebases, two sets of bugs and roughly double the cost, which is hard to justify before you know the app will be used. The other common starting point is a website that technically opens on a phone but feels wrong: taps land in the wrong place, nothing works offline, and there is no way to send a notification. Both problems have the same answer for most products.

One codebase, two app stores, no compromise on feel. We build, test on real devices, and manage the release process through App Store and Play Store review.

What you get

  • Cross-platform React Native build
  • Offline support and push notifications
  • App Store and Play Store submission
  • Crash reporting and release monitoring

How a mobile build runs

01

One codebase, both stores

React Native, so iOS and Android share almost all their logic. Where a platform genuinely differs, navigation feel, permissions, payments, we write native code for that piece rather than force a compromise that feels wrong on both.

02

Test on real devices

Simulators hide the things that matter: how it behaves on a three-year-old Android with poor signal, what happens when the keyboard covers the input, how it drains battery. We test on actual hardware, including the cheap ones your users have.

03

Offline is a design decision, not a bug fix

We decide early what has to work without connectivity and build around that, because retrofitting offline support into an app that assumed a connection is close to a rewrite.

04

We handle store submission

App Store and Play Store review, listing copy, screenshots, privacy declarations and the rejections that inevitably come back. You do not need to learn App Store Connect.

What we build it on

  • React Native
  • Expo where it fits
  • Native modules where it does not
  • Push notifications
  • Offline sync
  • App Store Connect and Play Console
  • Crash and release monitoring

FAQ

Cost and speed, for most products. One team and one codebase instead of two. If your app depends on something React Native handles badly, heavy real-time graphics or deep hardware integration, we will say so and recommend native rather than sell you the thing we prefer to build.

Yours. We set up the Apple Developer and Google Play accounts in your company name and work inside them. Publishing under an agency account is how clients lose control of their own listing, so we do not do it.

Apple is typically one to three days, Google usually faster. First submissions get rejected more often than updates, generally over privacy declarations or login requirements, so we build a review buffer into the timeline rather than promising a launch date that depends on Apple.
